Sheffner & Anderson
Sheffner and Anderson traces its roots back to 1915, when Walter and Maude Sheffner opened a small watchmaker’s workshop in Chicago, repairing intricate European timepieces adorned with ruby, sapphire, and diamond details.
Four generations later, their great- granddaughter Jacquie Anderson, A GG-certified gemologist with a distinctly modern eye, carries the legacy into a new era.
In helping Jacquie with her rebrand, we created a brand strategy aiming to incorporate important moments and visual influences from eras of the company’s past. Art deco design marks, midcentury typefaces and phrasing, velvety 1980’s packaging, and modern-day art direction and composition.
