For this collaboration, Standard Wax's brief was a mini candle collection that could hold three references at once: the hushed, cabinet-of-wonders feel of Chicago's Field Museum, seasonal fall crispiness, and the excess of Marie Antoinette's court. Rather than choosing one mood, the collection moves through all three, natural history gone slightly gothic, opulence played for a little camp. Each candle got its own name, scent story, and label treatment, unified by a single collection identity so the four could stand alone or read as a set on the Standard Wax site.
